Become Editorial Board Members

IDRIS Publication is committed to publishing original articles with high scientific quality, efficient processes for article submissions, vigorous and impartial peer review, high-quality author service, and high-level publication ethics. Here we provide comprehensive guidelines for our Editors.

The editors are experts in their respective fields and are highly responsible for the editorial and peer review process. They have a major role in handling the manuscripts, make decision on the acceptance or rejection of a paper and help our authors to promote their research. IDRIS Publication wants to make the work easier for editors by ensuring you have the right tools at the right time to promote your journal.

IDRIS Publication Editorial Board Requirement

Editorial Board members are selected by the journal’s editor(s). Editorial Boards generally undergo a complete revision every two or three years, with members joining, stepping down or continuing for another term. Changes also occur in the interim, for example, if a member resigns.

Benefits

  • No subscription/APC fee for the editorial board members.
  • Editorial Board members are waived from the registration fee for the conferences, meetings or workshops organized by IDRIS Darulfunun Institute.
  • A Membership Certificate will be issued for Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editors, and Editorial Board Members
  • Reviewers will receive certificates for their time period upon request.

Editorial Board Responsibility

Editorial board members are the strength of the research publication as they are experts in various scientific fields. Our Team assists Editorial board members in handling the editorial processes. Similar to the terms of editor-in-chief and associate editor, the editorial board members are also requested to serve for a three-year term. They may be reappointed or promoted.

The Editorial Board Member's responsibilities are given below:

  • Attract potential authors and submissions.
  • Promote the journal to their colleagues and peers.
  • Editorial board members may have to review 2-5 manuscripts in a year
  • They may have to give suggestions to improve the journal's policy and scope
  • Identify topics for special issues, which they may guest edit.
  • Editorial board members are encouraged to submit 1-2 of their works for publication yearly.
  • Assist the editor(s) in decision-making over issues such as plagiarism claims and submissions where reviewers can’t agree on a decision.
